We’re looking for a Logistics Driver – Flatbed Tow Operator to safely recover and transport company vehicles using flatbed tow equipment. This role is essential in supporting our transition from R&D to fully scaled commercial operations.
Safely operate a flatbed tow truck and perform vehicle recovery on public roads
Tow loads with a combined weight of 10,001–26,000 lbs (equipment GVWR: 20,000 lbs )
Secure and transport vehicles and materials safely and efficiently
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, trailers, and equipment
Follow all DOT regulations
Communicate clearly and promptly with dispatch and ground support teams
Use advanced towing tools and techniques (winching, skating, snatch blocking, shimmy off-loading, etc.)
Keep accurate logs, including hours of service
Perform basic vehicle maintenance (fueling, oil checks, tire pressure, minor repairs)
Work collaboratively with logistics and cross-functional teams to deliver an excellent customer experience
Valid Class C driver’s license
8–10 years of towing experience (flatbed preferred)
Clean driving record with no moving violations
Ability to operate large/heavy vehicles with a high level of skill
Strong communication and organizational skills
Flexible with work hours
Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment
Able to lift up to 35 lbs and climb in/out of the vehicle repeatedly
Meets DOT physical/medical requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred
Must pass background check and drug testing
