Job Description

The Staff  Accountant  will drive best practices in accounting, financial reporting and compliance. The successful candidate will provide a variety of accounting functions with precision and timeliness, including preparing monthly financial statements, analysis and assisting in financial audits. 

Responsibilities:

• You will be performing a variety of full cycle tasks, including entry, reporting, reconciliation, and financial analysis. 
• You will preform monthly account reconciliations and maintaining general ledgers. 
• You will work alongside Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other departments within the business
• You will be reconciling bank accounts daily. 
• You will be monitoring and reconciling cash activities for all sites. 
• You will assist in preparation of timely and accurate financial statements. 
• You will be preparing, entering, and adjusting journal entries. 
• You will be recommending enhancements and improvements to existing processes 
• You will be handling day to day accounting related queries and other ad hoc reporting and duties as required. 

Qualifications

• Accounting Degree or Diploma and 5+ years of relevant experience. 
• Experience 
• CPA is a plus 
• Experience in performing account reconciliations and analysis. 
• Excellent communication skills both orally and written.
• Self-Motivated with the ability to multitask. 
• Excellent Excel Skills. 
• Strong attention to detail.
