Growing together.** The Pharmacy Technician will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements. We do not compound sterile products. **Schedule:** This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. **About the Facility:** The Hospital for Behavioral Medicine, located in Worcester MA, is a 120-bed psychiatric hospital situated near the campus of the University of Massachusetts. HBM provides mental health and chemical dependency care for adolescents, adults, and senior adults. Treatment services include free initial screenings, assessment, inpatient and outpatient services, and aftercare referrals. Patients can expect a safe, caring environment with trained physicians, nurses, counselors, and technicians who will provide outstanding care for individuals and families. **About the Pharmacy:** The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm and on weekends from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm. You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. **Required Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent + Active applicable state Pharmacy Technician license in good standing + PTCB/CPhT **Preferred Qualifications:** + Recent work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, ideally in a hospital or outpatient setting + Proficiency with pharmacy software Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour based on full-time employment.
