Gulf Coast Orthopedics Physical Therapy (“GCO”) is seeking Part-Time (PT) Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant- Hand Experience Preferred - to serve in our Outpatient Rehab clinic.

At GCO our Licensed Occupational Therapists provide integrated, state-of-the-art therapy care and rehabilitation to our patients. As a part of our team, you will have immediate access to referral sources, patient records, imaging studies, and more, allowing for optimal patient care and recovery.

Position Summary:

Provide efficient, quality-oriented patient care through an individualized program, including assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, a home exercise program, education, and communication to maximize the patient's progress toward achieving functional goals.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Deliver individualized, quality-oriented therapy programs, including assessment, treatment planning, implementation, and education.
• Uphold clinic policies and regulatory standards while demonstrating superior clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Engage in collaborative communication with team members and actively identify patient learning needs.
• Foster a professional image and a supportive team environment.
• Utilize strong organizational skills to prioritize patient care effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current, active, and unencumbered license to practice in Ohio as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (open to candidates with pending licensures or those preparing for their board exam within six months).
• Uphold clinic policies and regulatory standards while demonstrating superior clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Engage in collaborative communication with team members and actively identify patient learning needs.
• Foster a professional image and a supportive team environment.
• Utilize strong organizational skills to prioritize patient care effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Cert. Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of Louisiana.

This position requires a background check upon acceptance.
