Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time Men’s Knitwear Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and creative professional with experience in men’s knitwear—experience with fully fashioned sweaters is a plus—and a strong understanding of the premium golf and lifestyle market. In this role, you will play a key part in the seasonal development process, from concept through production, ensuring that every product reflects the Holderness & Bourne aesthetic and standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct market and trend research with a focus on golf relevant and premium style driven knitwear.

· Create seasonal concepts, sketches, and presentation boards that align with brand identity and merchandising strategy.

· Collaborate closely with Technical Design, Sourcing, and Production teams to develop and maintain detailed tech packs, including sketches, construction notes, and fabric/trim details.

· Communicate daily with overseas factories on color, fabric, trim, and sample for development and production to ensure accuracy and timely approvals.

· Maintain an organized design room archive of fabric swatches, trims, and reference materials, and ensure all corresponding line sheets are accurately updated.

· Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Production, Technical Design, and Marketing to ensure cohesive execution from concept to final product.

· Adhere to seasonal design calendars and development milestones.

· Support additional projects and initiatives as needed to advance the design team’s objectives.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in men’s design, with a strong focus on knitwear.

· Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel; experience in 3D design software (CLO preferred) is a plus.

· Strong knowledge of garment construction and fabric properties.

· Experience with fully fashioned sweaters is a plus.

· Elevated sense of style, proportion, and color; ability to translate trends into the Holderness & Bourne aesthetic.

· Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize effectively, and consistent follow-through.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a collaborative team environment.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

· Base Salary Range: $85,000 – $105,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
