Liberty Healthcare Corporation invites Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians specializing in Geriatric Medicine to explore a consulting opportunity.
Liberty Healthcare is a physician-owned organization with three decades of public health experience. We are a Joint Commission Certified organization that is certified by CMS as a QIO-like Entity.
For quality assurance purposes and to ensure the people we serve receive high quality healthcare services, Liberty Healthcare maintains a panel of physician specialists who are called upon occasionally to conduct quality reviews of patient medical records and participate in other quality assurance related activities.
As Liberty Healthcare’s Geriatric Medicine consultant, you would apply your subject matter expertise on an as needed basis as requested by Liberty Healthcare.
This is a non-direct care role which does not involve patient care. Work hours are not guaranteed and can range between zero to ten quarterly.
You may accomplish this work remotely from your office or home on dates and at times that are convenient to you.
You can expect to be paid for each hour of consulting services you provide at an hourly rate that is consistent with your usual hourly billing rate. You will also be paid a $500.00 retainer when you join Liberty Healthcare's physician panel.
To qualify for this consulting role, you must have an active Indiana medical license, be residency trained in either Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, and be Board Certified in Geriatric Medicine. Experience in peer review and quality assurance activities is helpful but not required.
