A General Manager at General Insulation Company can lead all branch employees and operations to drive growth within the branch and company. They are responsible for overseeing branch performance and maintaining company standards.
Essential Job Functions:
• Lead, motivate and develop branch employees to achieve performance goals.
• Implement and enforce company policies, safety protocols and procedures.
• Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews and training sessions.
• Partners with the Operations Manager to keep facility equipment and inventory in line with company standards.
• Collaborate with the Regional Vice President (RVP) and Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to establish quarterly budgets, sales quotas and KPI’s.
• Work with RSM and the sales team to create and implement 90-day sales and marketing plans.
• Ensure sales staff maintains up to date customer records through company CRM.
• Develop strong relationships with vendors to provide accurate market conditions and ensure competitive pricing while collaborating with RVP and RSM.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, vendors and customers.
• Well versed in all product offerings within the company.
• Consistent communication with the Regional Vice President.
• Performs additional functions essential or otherwise, which may be assigned.
Candidate Requirements:
• Associate’s degree preferred and/or 2+ years of proven work experience in wholesale distribution.
• Expertise in warehouse and inventory management
• Strong leadership and communication skills• Proficient in computer systems and the ability to quickly learn new software.
• Adaptable and open to ongoing changes within the branch and company.
• Capable of handling physical tasks including lifting, pushing and pulling up to 40lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing to work odd hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
