Electrical Design Engineer — Lexington, KY

Location: Lexington, Kentucky

Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site / Monday/Friday

Start Date: November 18th, 2025

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Design Specialist with advanced technical expertise in design software and multidisciplinary collaboration. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, reviewing, and refining detailed engineering designs and drawings in both 2D and 3D environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize AutoCAD , MicroStation , and Excel to develop and deliver high-quality design documentation.
• Apply advanced knowledge of 2D and 3D applications to prepare accurate and efficient engineering drawings.
• Perform and review design calculations , ensuring precision and compliance with applicable standards and project requirements.
• Apply strong understanding of design theory and practices within your assigned discipline, while maintaining awareness of related disciplines to ensure cohesive design solutions.
• Collaborate effectively with Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers in a multidisciplinary team environment to resolve design or drawing issues.
• Learn and implement new design software and technologies as needed to enhance productivity and design accuracy.
• Ensure quality, consistency, and attention to detail across all deliverables.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD , MicroStation , and Microsoft Excel .
• Proven ability to produce detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings .
• Strong foundation in design systems , calculations , and discipline-specific theory .
