Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable Desktop Support Technician with a high aptitude for customer service. Candidates must have minimum of one to two years of experience in a Desktop Support or similar role. This must include installation, troubleshooting, and repair of devices in a windows-based environment. Along with desktop duties, the selected candidate may be required to assist with security cameras, servers, and network switches. This position will provide desktop support for approximately 275 devices and support our client’s staff within the correctional complex but will also interact or be among prison inmates as they are used for work detail. Qualified candidates must maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to lift and carry heavy objects or work in uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time. The candidate must be able to pass a background screening and extensive drug test prior to starting. Our client holds training that can last up to two to three weeks. This training teaches the selected candidate how to work, adapt, and conduct themselves in a prison atmosphere.
