Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Dental Hygienist in Rochester, New York! This role is in person/on site. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.

Type: Contract to hire

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm

Pay: $40.00 an hour

Responsibilities of the Dental Hygienist:

• Ensures patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
• Conducts initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
• Identifies conditions like gingivitis or periodontitis. Cleans and helps protect clients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
• Educates clients on proper tooth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
• Gives instructions to clients after dental procedures
• Take X-rays or dental impressions
• Assists Dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases
• Maintains documentation and charts on each client
• Monitors supply and coordinates re-ordering as needed

Qualifications of the Dental Hygienist:

• Graduate of a recognized dental hygiene school
• Dental Hygienist licensure preferred
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
