Job Description

Classification: Contract-to-Hire

Contract Length: 6 months

Summary:

The Reporting Data Analyst II is responsible for analyzing, developing, and producing reports that support operational performance, health plan compliance, and regulatory requirements. This role involves managing data processes, collaborating with IT and business teams, and ensuring data integrity across multiple systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and interpret data to identify trends and support business decisions
  • Develop and maintain project plans, documentation, and status reports; facilitate meetings to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Create technical documentation and reference materials for reporting processes
  • Document workflows and maintain report request/helpdesk logs
  • Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders; participate in design sessions and code reviews
  • Analyze customer requirements and perform variance analysis to identify trends
  • Adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple client requirements simultaneously
  • Stay informed on application and industry changes to improve processes
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of reports; validate weekly data loads to quality applications
  • Coordinate testing for system enhancements and implementations
  • Troubleshoot data and reporting issues with minimal supervision
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience required.
  • Intermediate SQL Server programming and administration skills
  • Strong experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
  • Familiarity with source code control systems (e.g., Visual SourceSafe)
  • Preferred experience with Cozeva
  • Technical writing skills for documenting system procedures
  • Understanding of IPA/MSO medical management models and healthcare processes
  • Ability to interpret system interfaces and collaborate on solutions
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills; ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Healthcare IT experience with emphasis on HIPAA transaction standards preferred
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving data and code defects
  • IBM AS400 experience is a plus
  • Preferred experience with programming languages: T-SQL, XML, ETL, .NET, C#, VB
  • Preferred tools: Visual Studio IDE, SSIS.
