Job Description

Description We are looking for a dedicated Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate data management and processing for our non-profit organization. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and proficient in data entry tasks. Responsibilities: - Accurately input donor contributions into specialized donor software. - Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets with relevant data. - Process credit card transactions as needed. - Organize and sort incoming mail to facilitate check processing. - Ensure data integrity by reviewing and verifying entered information. - Collaborate with team members to meet data entry deadlines. - Generate reports from data systems as required. - Handle sensitive donor information with confidentiality and professionalism. Requirements - At least 1 year of experience in a data entry or similar role. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry software. - Strong typing skills with attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively. - Familiarity with handling financial transactions, including credit card processing. - Excellent organizational and time management abilities. - Capable of maintaining confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
