Job Description

Our client, an elite AmLaw firm, is seeking a Conflicts Specialist to support the Risk Management Department in the identification, analysis, and resolution of potential conflicts related to new clients, matters, and lateral hires.

This role can sit hybrid in any U.S. office location (NYC, Boston, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Seattle, Silicon Valley, D.C.).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform conflicts checks and company research using in-house and commercial databases
• Analyze conflicts reports and communicate findings to Partners and Conflicts Attorneys
• Assist with follow-up on pending conflicts resolution issues
• Update and maintain the conflicts database
• Assist with drafting and editing conflict waiver letters
• Respond to inquiries from attorneys and administrative staff regarding conflict waivers
• Assist in reviewing employee and lateral hire conflict check forms
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in conflicts or risk management
• Excellent data entry skills and strong attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with automated conflicts software (Intapp preferred)
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
