Job Title: Communications Specialist (Contract)

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Onsite; potential for limited hybrid flexibility on Fridays)

Type of Employment: Contract (Estimated duration: 3–6 months)

Compensation: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

Industry: Professional Services

Job Overview:

Addison Group is partnering with our client to hire an experienced Internal Communications Specialist. This role will support company-wide communication initiatives, employee engagement, and internal branding efforts while assisting with ongoing content and HR communication projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, edit, and distribute internal communications to promote company updates and initiatives.
• Coordinate and schedule communication campaigns across internal platforms to strengthen employee engagement.
• Draft and edit content for internal training materials and employee communications.
• Maintain and update internal communication tools or systems to ensure consistent messaging.
• Support HR and leadership teams in creating and delivering clear, engaging internal messages.
• Assist with special projects related to internal communications, social media, or brand development.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in internal communications, marketing, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Experience using a communication or marketing automation platform (e.g., MailChimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using Workvivo or a similar internal engagement platform is preferred.
