We are a regional car wash equipment manufacturer and distributor, serving the Rocky Mountain region. We provide a full range of car wash supplies, as well as technical support and service to self service, automatic and tunnel car washes. Located near Colorado Blvd and I-70 in Denver, we are convenient for both our employees and customers to access.
We are seeking highly motivated, smart and personable individuals to join our team. You will be one of three drivers to assist the Part Department Manager. You will make deliveries in one of our trucks to car washes in Colorado, Wyoming and Kansas. We have 3 straight trucks – 15k GVW, 32k GVW and 55k GVW. Additionally you will be taking phone orders, loading your own truck and preparing all required bills of lading. Please note this is a physically demanding job; if you get tired walking from the couch to the refrigerator to grab a box of bon bons, this is not the position for you.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Commercial Drivers License (CDL), Class B. A Hazmat and air brakes endorsements or the ability to obtain the endorsement within 30 days of employment
- At least 2 years driving vehicles requiring a CDL
- Clean driving record
- No criminal history
- Ability to lift 75 lbs, climb ladders. You will have to lift 5 gallon jugs, as well as
move 30 and 55 gallon drums with a barrel dolly.
- Must pass drug/alcohol screening
- Must pass background investigation
- Must be able to spend 1-2 nights per month on extended delivery trips
- Highly motivated, courteous, self starter
- General computer experience (other than playing angry birds and looking at facebook)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to read and understand invoices, purchase orders, freight receipts, etc.
- Professional appearance
- The applicant search is currently limited to the Denver metro area only please.
- Normal hours: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, M-F, however several trips a month are 1 or 2 nights away. Typically 3-5 hours of overtime each week loading a truck or driving.
Compensation:
$20-$21.75 per hour. Typically drivers also receive 4-5 hours overtime each week.
$1,000 annual safety bonus
