About Us:

PhysNet is a dynamic and innovative workers compensation company dedicated to helping patients achieve the best outcomes. We are seeking a resourceful and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support the growth and continuous improvement of our proprietary platform, PRISM. This role requires a well-rounded individual who can lead business analysis efforts, support project management activities, and contribute to quality assurance tasks. If you’re passionate about building clarity from complexity and thrive in cross-functional environments, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  2. Documentation: Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), current-state and future-state process maps, and software feature specifications.
  3. Backlog Management: Collaborate with technical teams to structure and maintain a clear, prioritized backlog of PRISM feature requests and improvements.
  4. Software Documentation: Own the effort to document existing PRISM system functionality, data flows, and business logic for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  5. Project Coordination: Support light project management duties such as timeline tracking, status reporting, and cross-team communication to keep initiatives on track.
  6. Quality Assurance Support: Assist with test planning, acceptance criteria creation, and performing exploratory testing or validation of deliverables as needed.
  7. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
  8. Process Improvement: Identify and propose improvements to internal documentation standards, project workflows, and stakeholder communication practices.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role, preferably in a SaaS or healthcare technology environment.
  3. Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development lifecycles.
  4. Proven ability to create structured and clear documentation.
  5. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  6. Experience with project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Asana) is a plus.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Experience supporting QA efforts and/or writing test cases is a plus.
  9. Familiarity with healthcare workflows or workers’ compensation processes is a bonus.
